Downlead Clamp

DownLead Clamp, also called lead wire pads, are fixed to poles or strain relief towers to guide fiber optic cables up or down through them. According to the application, the lead wire clips include tower lead wire clips, pole lead wire clips, ADSS lead wire clips and OPGW lead wire clips.

The downlead clamp consist of a stainless steel band and a rubber part. The stainless steel band is used to fix the rubber clip on the pole. At the same time, the rubber part fixes the optical fiber. This way, the fiber does not shake and at the same time reduces damage caused by friction.

The lead wire clamps for towers have a different structure than the lead wire clamps for poles. The clamps consist of steel brackets, bolts and nuts, and rubber parts. The bolt secures the lead clip to the tower.

What is the purpose of a lead wire clamp?

The lead down clamp is used to guide the cable from the top of the pole to the bottom. It secures fiber optic cables from the tower to the junction box. Lead-off clamps come in a variety of designs and shapes to support huge cables. The lead-in clips are designed to provide sliding strength. The adapter is secured to the steel tower clamps to eliminate drilling problems. Thus, it becomes easy and simple during installation.
The light pole lead clips are made of steel straps. The clamp ensures that OPGW and ADSS cables are guided from the pole and tightly secured to inhibit abrasion.
The tower lead clips are hot deep galvanized to support the movement of ADSS or OPGW cables. The clamps ensure that the cables are tightly secured to prevent damage.
The OPGW and ADSS lead-in clips are made of rubber and are used to support fully dielectric self-supporting and optical ground cables.
