ADSS with The DN Short-span Tension Clamp

ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) tension clamp is a device used to attach and support ADSS cables to poles or towers in overhead fiber optic cable installations. It is designed to grip the cable without damaging it while also providing the necessary tension to keep the cable taut and secure.

Product Description

Tension Clamp

ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) tension clamp is a device used to attach and support ADSS cables to poles or towers in overhead fiber optic cable installations. It is designed to grip the cable without damaging it while also providing the necessary tension to keep the cable taut and secure. The ADSS tension clamp is typically made of corrosion-resistant materials such as aluminum or plastic and is available in different sizes to fit various cable diameters.

ADSS Tension Clamp

Composition: twisted wire, thimble, PH-type shackle, U-type shackle etc.

Purposes: support all strain, make ADSS cable connect the strain pole and tower.

Features:

Preformed wire connect the pole and tower by thimbles etc. link fitting, afford the load of the transmission line.

Grip strength not less than cable 95%RTS in case that not more than lateral pressure of the cable

E xcellent aluminum clad steel improve the mechanical and resist-corrosion function, extend life.

Corrosion-resistant materials such as aluminum or plastic to ensure durability and longevity.

Gripping mechanism that securely holds the cable without causing damage.

Tensioning mechanism that allows for adjustment of the cable tension.

Insulating material to protect the cable from electrical currents.

Suitable for use with a range of cable diameters.

Easy installation and maintenance.

Technical requirements: meet the DL / T 766-2003 ADSS with the preformed helical fittings technical requirements and test methods

Application

ADSS tension clamp is used in overhead fiber optic cable installations to attach and support ADSS cables to poles or towers. They are commonly used in a variety of applications, including:

  1. Telecommunications networks: ADSS cables are used to transmit high-speed data and voice communications over long distances, and tension clamps are used to secure the cables to poles or towers.

  2. Power transmission and distribution: ADSS cables are used to provide communication between substations and control centers, and tension clamps are used to secure the cables to transmission towers.

  3. Transportation systems: ADSS cables are used for intelligent transportation systems, such as traffic cameras and variable message signs, and tension clamps are used to secure the cables to poles or bridges.

  4. Oil and gas industry: ADSS cables are used for monitoring and control of pipelines and other critical infrastructure, and tension clamps are used to secure the cables to poles or towers.

In order to install the ADSS fibre optic clips correctly, it is recommended that the following steps are carried out.
Release the mooring hook from the anchor clip.
Place the hook on the point to be moored or supported and secure it in the body of the clamp
Remove the wedge from the base and place the cable inside the clamp
Place the wedge back in its appropriate position and continue to tension the cable.
